Fee, Cancellation and Refund

Below are our marketplace policies relating to fees, cancellations and refunds. It is at our sole discretion to amend these policies from time to time and it is your responsibility to regularly check the Site to determine if there have been any changes.

The types of fees involved in our marketplace transaction are mentioned below. You may refer your dashboard for the detailed description of each fee. If you have any questions on our fee policy, please contact us at contact@wanderage.com.

Wanderage Service Fees :

Total Sales Fee = (Processing Fee + Transaction Fee)

                          = 6% to 12.99% of the total value + INR 20 for every transaction

Traveller service fees are typically 6-12.99% but can be higher or lower depending on the specifics of the reservation.


For every booking between buyers and operators, Wanderage collects a processing fee of some amount of the total value. Processing fee shall be deducted directly from the amount paid to us, and it is non-refundable in all circumstances, unless your experience is cancelled by the operator.

Processing fee is used for our marketplace maintenance and geographical expansion to serve you better.

Transaction fee

Our marketplace payment system is supported by a third party payment gateway. All payments transacted through payment gateway are subject to a payment gateway fee. This fee is included in Total Sales Fee. The payment gateway fee and its refund policy may change from time to time at the discretion of that particular payment gateway.

  • Any travellers billing receipt

VAT charges on service fees

Depending on the laws of the jurisdiction involved, VAT may be charged on top of the service fee. The service fee will include these VAT charges when applicable.

Note: Experience fees are charged to the travellers directly by the operator and may contain local taxes (including VAT).


Cancellation and Refund policy

You are allowed to request for cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the date of your experience or activity by our operators (if operator hasn’t mentioned his cancellation and refund policy) but some percent of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees, otherwise cancellation and refund policy works as mentioned by our operator in his policy. All cancellation requests shall be reviewed by our operators and the purchaser will be informed of the outcome by email. Late cancellation requests are considered a “no-show” and will incur full booking charges.

Refunds arising from cancellation request shall be informed to the operator. Fund transfer will be processed within seven (07) working days from the email date.

Trip cancellations and reservation changes
See the effect of cancellation on  fees for the following situations:

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the experience, Service fee of (12.99% of booking value) will be charged as cancellation fee
  • If cancellations are made 7-15 days before the start date of the   experience, 25% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 1-7 days before the start date of the experience, 50 % of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made before 24 hours before the start date of the experience, 100% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees

  • If a reservation request is retracted, expires or is declined, we don’t charge the traveler a service fee
  • If a traveler cancels a reservation, the fee charged as mentioned above to the traveler is non-refundable
  • If a traveler chooses to be refunded after a operator cancellation, the service fee charged to the traveler is refunded
  • If a reservation is changed, the service fee charged to the traveler adjusts with to the new subtotal
