Launched in 2024 by the team behind Mediterranean Experience — a Dubrovnik travel agency and destination management company organizing trips and events since 2005 — WanderAge combines upscale accommodations, local experiences, and a supportive community, all built on twenty years of making complex travel run smoothly.
Our Roots
WanderAge is a brand of Mediterranean Experience Ltd., a travel agency and destination management company based in Dubrovnik since 2005. For two decades, our team has organized international conferences, corporate events, incentives, and private tours across Croatia and the Adriatic — trusted by companies and travellers from around the world.
That experience is exactly what makes slow travel work. The hotel relationships built over twenty years, the guides and drivers we know by name, the on-the-ground support that has carried hundreds of events without a hitch — WanderAge runs on the same operational backbone, now dedicated to extended stays for travellers 50+.
We’d been looking for something like this for years — not a tour, not a DIY trip. Two weeks in Dubrovnik with everything taken care of, and people who understood exactly what we were after. It felt exactly right.
Our Approach
After twenty years of making complex travel run smoothly, we've learned what actually matters. These are the commitments we make to every traveller — the things we won't compromise on.
We kept meeting the same people — active, curious, well-travelled — who wanted more time abroad but felt let down by the options. Package tours moved too fast. Independent travel felt isolating. Long-stay apartments left you on your own in an unfamiliar city with no one to call.
So we built WanderAge to be something different: a way of actually living somewhere for a few weeks, with people who understand what you're looking for, and with everything already sorted.
